*NEW* Spiritual Astrology Program

The Spiritual Science of Astrology has been misunderstood and misused in the West in comparison with the enlightened view it has had historically since ancient times in the East.

Generally seen as a fortune telling device, for prediction of sources of wealth, happiness or misfortune, it was justly criticized as a means to take advantage of the credulity of people.

There is no question of the influence of the planets. We are aware that through the evident process of photosynthesis the sun brings life to the planet. Similarly we know the effect that the moon has on the tides of the ocean and by extension we understand the effect it has in human being bodies with the high content of water.

It is therefore reasonable to conclude that the other planets have similar influence over the life on earth, each one with its own characteristic and properties.

This knowledge, according to Vedic teachings, product of revelation, insight and profound study is the way astrology is perceived in the East and was used for spiritual purposes. The true object of astrology, based on the known influence of the planets helps to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the character of each individual in order to provide the recommendations to develop the virtues that will help to raise the level of consciousness, grow as a human being and fulfill the purpose of existence. We are very fortunate to have Acharya Dinesh Mizra, an experienced Vedic astrologer (see bio below) and Raquel (Sita) Gomez, practicing western astrology, within the same purpose of spiritual growth, collaborating to share this precious knowledge with us.

ACHARYA DINESH MISHRA

Acharya Dinesh Mishra has a post graduate degree in physics. He joined Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's movement in 1976, and worked in the movement for 17 years as a meditation and siddhi teacher. He was president of the department of yagyas and jyotish in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's movement. For six years, As department president, he presided over approximately four thousand pandits and hundreds of jyotishis.
 

In 1993, Acharya Dinesh started to work independently. He formed the organization called the DIVINE KINGDOM CHARITABLE TRUST to propagate the knowledge of yoga, yagya (sacrifices), jyotish astrology, vastu (the basis for feng shui) and Vedic science throughout the world. Acharya Dinesh has visited about 35 countries of the world and has shared his knowledge with thousands of spiritual seekers. In 2002 he established an ashram in Rishikesh, in the Himalaya mountains of India, where residential courses on yoga, jyotish, and Vedic science are conducted from time to time. He has performed Bhagvat Katha in Sydney, Australia and Devi Bhagvat in London ,U.K.
